How to get your own personal AI assistant
Twains takes care of the server, the security and the updates. You need a paid Claude plan and about ten minutes.
Before you start
You need a paid Claude plan: Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Your assistant runs on that account, so its usage counts against the plan's limits. You do not need any technical knowledge or software of your own.
1. Subscribe
Choose the Twains plan and pay with Paddle. Your server is created right away with a 50 GB disk encrypted with its own key, and you get an email when it is ready.
2. Connect your Claude account
In the panel, open Claude connection and sign in with your Claude account. Your server then shows up in Claude on the web, desktop and phone apps under the name you choose, for example "Daniel (Twains)". You can open several conversations at once.
3. Add your documents
Upload files or whole folders from the Documents page, or drop a file straight into a Claude conversation. Scanned pages are converted to text, and everything becomes searchable within minutes.
4. Connect your mailbox
Add Gmail, Google Workspace, Yandex, iCloud, Yahoo, Zoho or any IMAP mailbox with an app password. Your assistant reads incoming and sent mail, learns how you write and saves replies as drafts.
5. Link WhatsApp (optional)
On the WhatsApp and reminders page, press Link WhatsApp and send the prepared message. From then on your assistant answers you there, reminders arrive there and files you send are saved to Documents.
6. Talk to it
Ask questions the way you would ask a colleague who has read everything.
Give your Claude a place of its own
Your server is ready a few minutes after you subscribe. Cancel any time and take your data with you.
